Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1222763 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front stabilizer shaft. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Replacement.
  2. Remove the stud bolt (1).
  3. Separate the control arm (2) from the knuckle assembly.

    4. Object Number: 1222812 Size: SH
  4. Remove the bolt (1).
  5. Remove the control arm from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1222818 Size: SH
  1. Install the control arm and the bolt (2) to the vehicle and tighten to 63 N·m (47 lb ft).
  2. Install the control arm to the knuckle assembly.
  3. Install the stud bolt (1) and tighten to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).
  4. Install the front stabilizer shaft. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Replacement.
