A child restraint with a top strap should only be used in the second or third row.

Do not secure a child restraint in the right front passenger's position or the third row driver's-side seating position if a national or local law requires that the top strap be anchored, or if the instructions that come with the child restraint say that the top strap must be anchored. There is no place to anchor the top strap in these positions.

The third row has one top strap anchor located at the bottom of the rear seat cushion that can be used for either the center or passenger-side seating position, but not for both. Never install two top straps using the same top strap anchor.
