Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2006 🢒 SSR 🢒 Body 🢒 Body Rear End 🢒 Cargo Box Cover Hinge Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Open the rear compartment lid.
  2. Lower the endgate.
  3. Remove the rear compartment lid. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement .
  4. Remove the rear compartment liner. Refer to Rear Compartment Liner Replacement .

    5. Object Number: 1273211 Size: SH
  5. Remove the cargo box cover hinge bracket fasteners.
  6. Pull the cargo box cover hinge bracket away from the vehicle.

    7. Object Number: 1273212 Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped.
  8. Remove the cargo box cover hinge bracket from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1273212 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector, if equipped.

    2. Object Number: 1273211 Size: SH
  2. Install the cargo box cover hinge bracket onto the vehicle.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the cargo box cover hinge bracket fasteners.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  4. Install the rear compartment liner. Refer to Rear Compartment Liner Replacement .
  5. Install the rear compartment lid. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement .
  6. Close the endgate.
  7. Close the rear compartment lid.
