Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 1999 🢒 S10 - Electric 🢒 Body and Accessories 🢒 Body Front End 🢒 Power Steering Gear Pipe/Hose Replacement - Inlet

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the high-voltage disconnect. Refer to High Voltage Disabling .
  2. Remove the Power Inverter Module (PIM). Refer to Power Inverter Module Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 325625 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the power steering inlet hose fitting from the side of the pump.
  4. Drain the steering fluid into a clean pan.
  5. Disconnect the power steering inlet hose fitting from the steering gear.

    6. Object Number: 325629 Size: SH
  6. Remove the power steering line from the line clamp.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 325625 Size: SH
  1. Connect the power steering inlet hose fitting to the steering gear.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the line fitting to 25 N·m(18 lb ft).

  2. Connect the power steering inlet hose fitting to the side of the pump.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the line fitting to 28 N·m(21 lb ft).

  3. Install the power steering line in the line clamp.
  4. Refill the power steering reservoir with fluid.
  5. Install the Power Inverter Module (PIM). Refer to Power Inverter Module Replacement .
  6. Install the high-voltage disconnect. Refer to High Voltage Enabling .
