  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Connect a test lamp from cavity A13 in connector C211 of CKT 41 (BRN) to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 5

Locate and repair the open in CKT 41 (BRN).

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Cruise Control System Check

With the cruise control switch in the ON position, connect a test lamp from ground to each of the following cavities of connector C211 while activating the corresponding part of the switch.

    • Cavity A12 - On
    • Cavity A14 - SET COAST
    • Cavity A15 - R/A

Does the test lamp light each time?

Go to Step 7

Replace the Multifunction Lever assembly. Go to Multifunction Lever Replacement

Is the repair complete?

Go to Cruise Control System Check

  1. Keep the cruise control switch in the ON position.
  2. Connect a test lamp from cavity 9 of the power inverter module connector CKT 84 (DK BLU) to ground.
  3. Activate the SET COAST switch.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 9

Locate and repair the open in CKT 84 (DK BLU).

Is the repair complete?

Go to Cruise Control System Check

Connect a test lamp from cavity 25 of the power inverter module connector CKT 87 (GRY/BLK) to ground and activate the R/A switch.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 11

Locate and repair the open in CKT 87 (GRY/BLK).

Is the repair complete?

Go to Cruise Control System Check

Connect a test lamp from cavity 10 of the power inverter module connector CKT 397 (GRY) to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Locate and repair the open in CKT 397 (GRY).

Connect a test lamp from cavity 24 of the power inverter module connector CKT 420 (PPL) to ground.
