Battery voltage is available at all times to the horn relay at terminal 2 and terminal 3. When the horn switch is pressed, it provides a ground to the horn relay coil 1 cavity. When the horn relay is energized, the relay contacts close. The closing of the relay contacts applies battery voltage to the horns. The horns continue to sound until the horn switch is released.
