Removal Procedure
- Drain the coolant from the radiator. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
- Remove the air cleaner assembly (2.2L engines only). Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls.
- Turn the drain cock until the metal pin on the drain cock is aligned with the opening slot.
- Pull the drain cock out of the radiator.
Installation Procedure
- Align the metal pin on the drain cock with the opening slot on the radiator.
- Push the drain cock into the radiator slot.
- Close the drain cock.
- Install the air cleaner (2.2L engines only). Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls.
- Refill the radiator. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
