Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the splash shields. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Wheelhouse in Body Front End.

    2. Object Number: 581407 Size: SH
  2. Remove the bolts (1) that retain the fender to the fascia (2).

    3. Object Number: 581409 Size: SH
  3. Remove the retainers (2) from the top of the fascia (1).
  4. Remove the fascia (1) from the impact bar (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 581409 Size: SH
  1. Install the fascia (1) to the impact bar (3).
  2. Install the retainers (2) to the top of the fascia (1).

    3. Object Number: 581407 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolts (1) to the fascia (2).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the splash shields. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Wheelhouse in Body Front End.
