The reveal molding is a vinyl trim that fills the cavity
between the body and the window edge. A urethane adhesive retains the reveal
molding.
Removal Procedure
- Cut the rear window reveal molding (1) in order to allow access
to the body pinchweld.
- Carefully cut the remaining portion of the reveal molding out
of the cavity between the window and the body.
Installation Procedure
- Position the service reveal molding to the body.
- Remove the urethane from the cavity in order to ensure a proper
fit.
- Apply urethane in the cavity between the body and the window.
- Install the rear window reveal molding (3) onto the rear window.
Align the corners of the rear window reveal molding with the corners of the
rear window.
- Tape the reveal molding.
- Remove any excess urethane.
