J 41352 Modular Column Holding Fixture

1. Check the steering column for accident damage. Refer to Steering Column Accident Damage Inspection - Off Vehicle .



2. Install the steering column and J 41352 into a vise.
3. Remove all wire harness straps from the wire harness assembly.



4. Remove the snap ring (3) from the groove in the steering shaft assembly (2) using snap ring pliers.
5. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil (4) downlead from the wire restraint clip.
6. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil (4).
