For 1990-2009 cars only
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Inspect the brake pads for wear.
- Measure the thickness.
- Install the brake pads in axle sets only.
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Lower the vehicle.
Specification
| • | The minimum thickness of the inner or the outer front pad is 2 mm (0.08 in). |
| • | The minimum thickness of the inner or the outer rear pad is 2 mm (0.08 in). |
