The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Onstar inoperative, service traction control system lamp, and / or the ABS lamp on

Recommendation/Instructions:

The wire harness that runs along the driver kick panel may chaff against the park brake mechanism. Inspect the wire harness, along the driver kick panel, for wire chaffing. Repair and reroute the damaged wires in the harness as necessary to eliminate the condition.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
