- Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector.
- Connect a fused jumper from the oil pressure switch connector
cavity to ground.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

- Disconnect the fused jumper.
- Disconnect the IP cluster assembly connector C1. Refer
to
Instrument Cluster Replacement
in Instrument Panel Gauges,
and Console for access.
- Connect a digital multimeter from the IP cluster assembly connector C1
terminal 8 to the oil pressure switch connector cavity.
- Measure the resistance.
Is the resistance less than the specified value?

- Inspect for a poor connection at the oil pressure switch.
- If the connection is OK, replace the oil pressure switch.

- Inspect the IP cluster printed circuit for cracks or bad connections.
- If the circuit is OK, replace the oil pressure indicator bulb.

| Repair the open in the YEL/BLK wire between the IP cluster assembly
and the oil pressure switch. Refer to
