  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  2. Disconnect the junction block connector C3.

Do the right turn lamps light?

Disconnect the junction block connector C4.

Do the right turn lamps light?

Replace the combination switch. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Replacement in SIR.

Disconnect the junction block connector C5.

Does the right front turn lamp light?

Go to Step 8

Test for a short to voltage in the GRN/YEL wire between the IP cluster assembly and the junction block.

Was an open found

Repair or replace the IP cluster printed circuit.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the short to voltage in the GRN/YEL wire between the right front turn lamp and the junction block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Disconnect the junction block connector C8.

Does the right rear turn lamp light?

Go to Step 10

Repair the short to voltage in the GRN/YEL wire between the junction block and the right rear turn lamp. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?
