Did you perform the Interior Lights System Check?

  1. Turn the light switch to the PARK position.
  2. Turn the illumination controller knob to the full clockwise position.
  3. Using a test light, backprobe connector C4 of the junction block from cavity 10 to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Using a test lamp, backprobe the illumination controller connector from cavity 2 to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Inspect for an open in the RED/YEL wire between the junction block and S204.

Is the connection OK?

Replace the junction block.

Is the repair complete?

Using a test lamp, backprobe the illumination controller connector from cavity 1 to B+.

Does the test lamp light?

Repair the open in the RED/YEL wire between the junction block and the illumination controller.

Is the repair complete?

Using a test lamp, backprobe the illumination controller connector from cavity 3 to B+.

Does the test lamp light?

Inspect for an open in the BLK wire between the illumination controller and the junction block.

Is the connection OK?

Replace the junction block.

Repair the open in the RED/GRN wire between the affected lamps and the illumination controller.
