For 1990-2009 cars only
- Disconnect the temperature control cable from the clip and from the door at the heater case (1).
- Set the mode lever to the VENT position.
- At the heater case (1), push the door lever counterclockwise completely forward, and affix the cable into position.
- Test the mode lever for smooth operation. Verify that the lever stops at the correct positions.
