For 1990-2009 cars only
- Disconnect the temperature control cable from the clip and from the door at the heater case (1).
- Set the temperature lever to completely COLD.
- At the heater case, push the door lever counterclockwise completely forward, and affix the cable into position.
- Test the temperature lever for smooth operation. Verify that the lever stops at the correct positions.
