Removal Procedure
Remove the powertrain control module. Refer to
Powertrain Control Module Replacement
in Engine Controls-1.0L or
Powertrain Control Module Replacement
in Engine Controls-1.3L.
Disconnect the blower motor resistor electrical connector.
Remove the following components from the blower case:
•
The 1 screw (3)
•
The blower motor resistor (2)
Installation Procedure
Install the resistor (2) to the blower case.
Secure the resistor with 1 screw (3).
Connect the blower motor resistor electrical connector.
Install the PCM. Refer to
Powertrain Control Module Replacement
in Engine Controls-1.0L or
Powertrain Control Module Replacement
in Engine Controls-1.3L.
Removal Procedure
Remove the powertrain control module (PCM). Refer to
Powertrain Control Module Replacement
-1.0L, or
Powertrain Control Module Replacement
-1.3L in Engine Controls.
Disconnect the electrical connector of the blower-motor resistor.
Remove 1 screw (3) and the blower-motor resistor (2) from the blower case (1).
Installation Procedure
Install the resistor (2) to the blower case (1). Secure the resistor with the 1 screw (3).
Connect the electrical connector of the blower-motor resistor electrical connector.
Install the PCM. Refer to
Powertrain Control Module Replacement
1.0L or
Powertrain Control Module Replacement
1.3L in Engine Controls.
