Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2008 🢒 Malibu 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.8L, 3.0L, 3.2L, or 3.6L 🢒 Engine Mount Snubber Replacement

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1841323 Size: SH
  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement.
  2. Remove the air conditioning (A/C) line retainer and position the A/C line aside.
  3. Remove the engine mount snubber to bracket bolts (1).

    4. Object Number: 1774616 Size: SH
  4. Rotate the snubber (2) vertical then remove the engine mount snubber to side rail bolts (1).
  5. Remove the snubber from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1774616 Size: SH
  1. Position the snubber (2) to the side rail, then install the snubber to side rail bolt (1).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 110 N·m (81 lb ft).

  2. Install the engine mount snubber to bracket bolts (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Position the A/C line in place and install the A/C line retainer.
  4. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement.
