Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement. Chevrolet Malibu 2007

For 1990-2009 cars only

Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2007 🢒 Malibu 🢒 Body Hardware and Trim 🢒 Interior Trim and Paneling 🢒 Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement

Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
Disconnect the window from the window regulator carrier plate. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement .

Position the window in the full up position and tape it to the window frame.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the window regulator motor.
Remove the inside handle. Refer to Front Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
Loosen the bolts on the window regulator rail.
Remove the front window regulator, lifting up and out from the key slots on the door inner panel and through the rear access hole.

Install the front window regulator bolts half way into the rear window regulator motor and the rail.
Position the front window regulator rail through the rear access hole first.
Position the front window regulator motor through the rear access hole.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Install the front window regulator into the key slots. Attach the regulator to the motor and the rail. Secure the regulator with bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 11N·m (97 lb in).

Remove the tape and position the front window to the regulator carrier plate.
Connect the window to the regulator carrier plate. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement .
Connect the electrical connector to the front window regulator motor.
Install the inside handle. Refer to Front Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
Install the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
