Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1315247 Size: SH
  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Remove the interior liftgate trim panels. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the liftgate switch.
  4. Remove the applique retaining screws.
  5. Beginning at either side of the applique, gently pull the applique. Remove the applique from the liftgate.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1315247 Size: SH
  1. Position the applique to the slots in the liftgate. Push to install the applique.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the applique retaining screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the retaining screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Connect the liftgate switch.
  4. Install the interior liftgate trim panels. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Close the liftgate.
