If one of the doors on your vehicle is not closed properly, while the ignition is on and the shift lever is moved from PARK (P) or NEUTRAL (N), you will hear a chime. Also, the DOOR AJAR message will display through the Driver Information Center until the doors are closed. See DIC Warnings and Messages for more information.
