| High Beam: Refer to Exterior Lighting Systems Description and Operation in Lighting Systems | ||||
| The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the engine oil pressure indicator when the powertrain control module (PCM) detects low engine oil pressure, and the signal circuit is low. The PCM sends a GMLAN message to the body control module (BCM) indicating low engine oil pressure. The IPC receives a GMLAN message requesting illumination from the BCM. | ||||
Low Fuel | Low Fuel: Refer to Indicator/Warning Message Description and Operation | ||||
| Low Traction: Refer to ABS Description and Operation in Antilock Brake System | ||||
| MIL: Refer to Powertrain Control Module Description in Engine Controls - 2.2L or Powertrain Control Module Description in Engine Controls - 3.5L. | ||||
| The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the SERVICE VEHICLE SOON in the following conditions:
| ||||
| Traction Control Off: Refer to ABS Description and Operation in Antilock Brake System | ||||
| Turn Signals: Refer to Exterior Lighting Systems Description and Operation in Lighting Systems | ||||
| The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates vehicle overspeed indicator when the body control module (BCM) detects that the vehicle speed is more than 120 km/h (75 mph). The IPC receives a GMLAN message requesting illumination from the BCM. |

AUTO LIGHTS ON | Refer to Exterior Lighting Systems Description and Operation in Lighting Systems |
BRAKE FLUID | Refer to Brake Warning System Description and Operation in Hydraulic Brakes |
CHANGE OIL SOON | The driver information center (DIC) illuminates the CHANGE ENGINE OIL message when the powertrain control module (PCM) determines that the engine oil life is 0 percent. The PCM sends a serial data message to the BCM to request the radio to illuminate the CHANGE ENGINE OIL message in the DIC via the GMLAN serial data link. After the oil is changed, reset the engine oil monitor. Refer to in Maintenance and Lubrication. |
