DEFINITION: The vehicle lights do not flash when the CTD system is in alarm mode.

Did you perform the Vehicle Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

Perform one of the following to activate the CTD alarm mode:

    • Operate the PANIC button on the keyless entry transmitter.
    • Complete the following steps:
        1. Open the drivers window.
        2. Lock the vehicle using the power door lock switch.
        3. Close all of the doors and wait at least 30 seconds.
        4. Reach in and unlock the drivers door manually.
        5. Open the drivers door.

Do all of the alarm mode functions activate--lights flash and horn pulses?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Are only the head lamps inoperative?
