Removal Procedure
- Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
- Open the rear compartment lid.
- Pull the rear compartment trim away from the sides of the rear compartment in order to expose the sun roof drain hose outlet.
- Pull the outlet out of the quarter panel drain hole.
- Separate the outlet from the drain hose.
- Release the drain hose from the retaining clip along the quarter panel.
- Disconnect the drain hose from the rear sun roof drain port.
- Release the drain hose from the retaining clip along the rear pillar.
- Remove the rear drain hose through the rear compartment access hole, located between the seat belt retractor and the rear window.
Installation Procedure
- Feed the drain hose into the rear compartment through the access hole.
- Press the drain hose into the retaining clip along the rear pillar.
- Connect the drain hose to the sun roof rear drain port.
- Press the drain hose into the retaining clip along the quarter panel.
- Connect the drain hose to the drain hose outlet.
- Press the drain hose outlet into the quarter panel drain hole.
- Check the drain hose for play. Secure the drain hose to the quarter panel or roof with 3M® double sided tape as necessary in order to prevent rattles.
- After securing the drain hose, place the rear compartment trim back into the original position.
- Close the rear compartment lid.
- Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
