Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement VIN Plant Code C, M

1. Remove the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Retainer Replacement .



2. Unfasten the J-hook retainer at the bottom of the seat back cover.



3. Pull back the rear of the seat cushion cover in order to access the loop tab on the cover.
4. Remove the loop tab from the seat back recliner bolt.



5. Pull out the seat back cover end flaps.



6. Unfasten the hook and the loop retainers which secure the seat back cover to the pad.
7. Remove the seat back cover, by pulling the cover up and over the pad.
8. Remove the head restraint retainers.
9. Remove the seat back cover from the pad.

1. Position the seat back cover to the pad.
2. Install the head restraint retainers.
3. Pull the seat back cover over the pad and align the hook and the loop retainers.
4. Use firm hand pressure in order to engage the hook and the loop retainers.



5. Pull back the end flaps from the seat back cover.



6. Install the loop tab to the seat back recliner bolt.
7. Pull back the rear of the seat cushion cover.



8. Fasten the J-hook retainer at the bottom of the seat back cover.
9. Install the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Retainer Replacement .

1. Remove the front seat back. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement .
2. Remove the head rest guides from the seat back. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Retainer Replacement .
3. Unfasten the hook and loop retainers securing the seat back cover (2) to the seat back pad (1).
4. Remove the seat back cover (2) from the seat back pad (1).

1. Install the seat back cover (2) to the seat back pad (1).
2. Fasten the hook and loop retainers for the seat back cover (2) using firm pressure until fully seated.
3. Install the head rest guides the seat back. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Retainer Replacement .
4. Install the front seat back. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement .
