Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 280436 Size: SH
  1. Remove the screw (6) form the seat back recliner handle (7).
  2. Remove the seat back recliner handle (7) from the seat back hinge/recliner mechanism (2).
  3. Remove the screws (4) from the seat cushion outer finish trim panel (5).
  4. Remove the seat cushion outer finish trim panel (5) from the seat cushion frame (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 280436 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat cushion outer finish trim panel (5) to the seat cushion frame (1).

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the screws (4) to the seat cushion outer finish trim panel (5).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1 N·m (9 lb in).

  3. Install the seat back recliner handle (7) to the seat back hinge/recliner mechanism (2).
  4. Install the screw (6) to the seat back recliner handle (7).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 1 N·m (9 lb in).
