Trunk Carpet Sagging

Trunk carpet trim sags in the area of the decklid hinges create an unsightly gap to the hinge panel, as shown in the graphic above.

A clip (P/N 92139058) has been released as a service part and should be used to retain the carpet if this condition is apparent. Install the clip as shown below:

1. Insert the clip with the ribbed section pointing up. Ensure that the quarter trim and the sheet metal panel are enclosed in the clip.



2. Continue pushing the clip into the access hole area until the ribbed section of the clip is no longer visible.
