Causes

Oil Pump Assembly (4)

    â€¢ Pressure regulator valve stuck
    â€¢ Pressure regulator valve spring
    â€¢ Rotor guide omitted or misassembled
    â€¢ Rotor cracked or broken
    â€¢ Reverse boost valve or sleeve stuck, damaged or incorrectly assembled
    â€¢ Orifice hole in pressure regulator valve plugged
    â€¢ Sticking slide or more than specfied rotor clearance
    â€¢ Pressure relief ball not seated or damaged
    â€¢ Porosity in pump cover or body
    â€¢ Wrong pump cover
    â€¢ Pump faces not flat
    â€¢ Excessive rotor clearance

Oil Filter (72)

    â€¢ Intake pipe restricted by casting flash
    â€¢ Cracks in filter body or intake pipe
    â€¢ O-ring seal missing, cut or damaged
    â€¢ Wrong grease used on rebuild

Control Valve Body (60)

    â€¢ Manual valve scored or damaged
    â€¢ Spacer plate or gaskets incorrect, misassembled or damaged
    â€¢ Face not flat
    â€¢ 2-3 Shift valve stuck
    â€¢ Checkballs omitted or misassembled
