HVAC Control Module Replacement

The HCM (HVAC Control Module) supplied through HSPO is a generic module that suits all VE and WM variants. This module is provided in "plant mode" which only has a basic operating program installed.

The new HSPO supplied HCM will need to be configured to the vehicle’s build such as : Single zone (SZ), Dual zone (DZ) and Tri zone (TZ) and to set the operating parameters of the mode and temperature doors

The HCM programming can be completed in two steps using the Tech 2®.

Important: Failure to successfully complete these two steps will result in erratic operation of the HVAC.

1. Complete SPS programming to correctly configure the HCM.
2. Recalibrate the HVAC mode and temp doors (Tech 2® Path > Body - HVAC - Programming - Cal. HVAC Doors).
