Removal Procedure

Tools Required

    • J 28467-360 Universal Support Fixture.
    • J 28467-90 Universal Support Fixture Adapter
    •  J 28467-200 Universal Support Fixture Adapter
  1. Remove the mount nuts from the bottom of the frame.
  2. Remove the transaxle mount nuts. Refer to Transaxle Mount Nuts in Automatic Transaxle On-Vehicle Service.
  3. Raise the engine to provide clearance. using J 28467-360 and J 28467-90 and J 28467-200
  4. .

  5. Remove the mount to engine mount bracket nuts.
  6. Remove the engine mount.

Installation Procedure

Tools Required

    • J 28467-360 Universal Support Fixture.
    • J 28467-90 Engine Support Fixture Adapter
    • J 28467-200 Engine Support Fixture Adapter
    • J 36462 Engine Support Adapter Leg Set

  1. Install the engine mount nuts to the engine mount bracket.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 44 N·m (32 lb ft).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Lower the engine.
  4. Install the mount to frame.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 44 N·m (32 lb. ft).

  6. Install the transaxle mount frame side bracket nuts to the frame. Refer to Automatic Transaxle.
  7. Remove the J 28467-360 , and theJ 28467-90 , and J 28467-360 .
