Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

1. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
2. Remove the sunshade anchors (4). Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement .
3. Remove the dome lamp. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement in Lighting.
4. Remove the coat hook. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement .
5. Loosen the windshield side upper garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper .
6. Remove the upper quarter trim panels. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
7. Loosen the lower quarter trim panels. Use the J 38778 .
8. Remove the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement



9. Use the J 38778 to remove the rear headliner retainer (3).
10. Carefully separate the hook portion from the loop portion until the headliner is loose.
11. Lower the right seat back to a horizontal position.
12. Remove the headliner through the right door.

1. Install the headliner (2).
2. Install the rear headliner retainers (3).
3. Install the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement
4. Install the upper quarter trim panels. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
5. Install the windshield side upper garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper
6. Install the coat hook. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement .
7. Install the dome lamp. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement in Lighting.
8. Install the sunshade anchor. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement
9. Install the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement
