  1. Disconnect the daytime running lamps (DRL) control module.
  2. Connect a fused 3 amp jumper between B+ and the DRL harness connector C2 terminal M.

Does the high beam indicator illuminate?

Go to Step 4

  1. Replace the daytime running lamp control module. Refer to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) Control Module Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  2. Inspect the system.

Is the repair complete?

  • Inspect for a poor connection or an open in CKT 629 between the instrument cluster harness connector terminal D6.

  1. Repair the poor connection or the open in CKT 629 between the instrument cluster harness connector terminal D6.
  2. Inspect the system.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Inspect the warning indicator bulb and the bulb connection.
  2. If the bulb and the bulb connection is OK, replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
  3. Inspect the system.
