Was the Wiper/Washer System Check performed?

  1. Disconnect wiper motor connector C2.
  2. Set the ignition switch to ON.
  3. Set the wiper switch to HI.
  4. Connect a J 35616-200 from wiper motor connector C2, terminal A, to ground.

Is the test light on?

Go to Step 3

Check for a poor connection at wiper motor connector C2, terminal A.

Is a poor connection condition present?

Go to Step 4

Repair the poor connection condition.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the wiper motor. Refer to Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement

Is the replacement complete?

Check for a poor connection condition or an open circuit condition CKT 92.

Is a poor connection condition or an open circuit condition present?

Repair the poor connection condition or open circuit condition in CKT 92.
