Did you perform the Rear Compartment Lid Release System Check?

Go to Rear Compartment Lid Release System Check

1. Make sure the park brake is set.
2. Disconnect the transaxle range switch connector C1.
3. Place the vehicle in a NON-PARK position.
4. Using a test light, backprobe between the rear compartment lid release switch connector terminal A circuit 275 and ground.

Does the test light illuminate?

Go to Step 4

1. Disconnect the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR) connector.
2. Leave the test light at the same location.

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Adjust or replace the transaxle range switch. Refer to Park/Neutral Position Switch Replacement and Park/Neutral Position Switch Adjustment in automatic transaxle 4T60 or Park/Neutral Position Switch Replacement and Park/Neutral Position Switch Adjustment in automatic transaxle 4T65 for service procedure.

Is the repair complete?

Repair a short to B+ in circuit 275.

Replace the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR). Refer to Receiver Replacement in Keyless Entry for service procedure.
