Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement Coupe Front

1. Remove the windshield side upper garnish moldings. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper in Interior Trim.
2. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Interior Trim.
3. Remove the sunshade retainers. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement in Interior Trim.



4. Lower the front of the headliner in order to access the front drain hoses (2).
5. Remove the clamp that connects the hose to the roof module.
6. Insert a deep-well socket into the old drain hose (2) at the sunroof module.
7. Ensure that the socket fits tightly into the hose.
8. Push the socket until half of the socket is in the old hose.
9. Insert the remaining half of the socket into the new drain hose.
10. Carefully pull the old hose through the A-pillar from the bottom, while feeding the new hose from the top. The socket will keep both pieces of the hose together.

1. Route the new front drain hose (2) into place.
2. Clamp the front drain hose to the sunroof module.

Important: Rotate the clamp 90 degrees in order to ensure clearance when the headliner is installed.

3. Raise the front edge of the headliner into place.
4. Install the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Interior Trim.
5. Install the sunshade retainers. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement in Interior Trim.
6. Install the windshield side upper garnish moldings. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper in Interior Trim.

Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement Sedan Front

1. Remove the windshield side upper garnish moldings. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper in Interior Trim.
2. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Interior Trim.
3. Remove the sunshade retainers. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement in Interior Trim.



4. Lower the front of the headliner in order to access the front drain hoses (2).
5. Remove the clamp that connects the hose to the roof molule.
6. Insert a deep-well socket into the old drain hose at the sunroof module.
7. Ensure that the socket fits tightly into the hose.
8. Push the socket until half of the socket is in the old hose.
9. Insert the remaining half of the socket into the new drain hose.
10. Carefully pull the old hose (2) from the bottom while feeding the new hose from the top. The socket will keep both pieces of the hose together.

1. Route the new drain hose (2) into place.
2. Clamp the drain hose to the sunroof module.

Important: Rotate the clamp 90 degrees in order to ensure clearance when the headliner is installed.

3. Raise the front edge of the headliner into place.
4. Install the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Interior Trim.
5. Install the sunshade retainers. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement in Interior Trim.
6. Install the windshield side upper garnish moldings. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper in Interior Trim.

Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement Coupe Rear

1. Remove the rear seat seatback. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
2. Remove the rear quarter trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
3. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
4. Disconnect the rear hose clamp from the sunroof module.



5. Remove the tape that secures the rear hose to the roof and rear pillar.
6. Pull the old drain hose up from the rocker and through the upper access hole in the quarter inner panel.
7. Remove the rear drain hose (1) from the vehicle.

1. Position the drain hose (1) in the vehicle.
2. Route the new drain hose through the upper access hole in the quarter inner panel and down through the rocker.
3. Use tape in order to secure the rear hose to the roof and rear pillar.
4. Clamp the drain hose to the sunroof module.

Important: Rotate the clamp 90 degrees in order to ensure clearance when the headliner is installed.

5. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
6. Install the rear quarter trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
7. Install the rear seat seatback. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.

Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement Sedan Rear

1. Remove the rear seat seatback. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
2. Remove the rear quarter trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
3. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
4. Disconnect the rear hose from the sunroof module.



5. Remove the tape holding the hose to the roof.
6. Pull the old rear drain hose (1) up from the rocker and through the upper access hole in the quarter inner panel.
7. Remove the rear drain hose (1) from the vehicle.

1. Position the drain hose (1) in the vehicle.
2. Route the hose (1) through the upper access hole in the quarter inner panel and down through the rocker panel.
3. Tape the hose in position.
4. Clamp the hose to the sunroof module.

Important: Rotate the clamp 90 degrees in order to ensure clearance when the headliner is installed.

5. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
6. Install the quarter trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
7. Install the seat seatback. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Interior Trim.
