Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the windshield upper garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the carpet retainers. For the Sedan refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement or for the Coupe Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim
  3. Loosen the quarter trim panel (Coupe). Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Remove the center pillar upper trim, as needed. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

    5. Object Number: 293550 Size: MH
  5. Grasp the front door opening weatherstrip (1).
  6. Pull the front door opening weatherstrip off the body flange.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 293550 Size: MH
  1. Align the front door opening weatherstrip (1) to the body flange with the ends joined at the middle of the door sill.
  2. Starting at the top of the A-pillar, push the front door opening weatherstrip onto the pinch-weld flange.
  3. Install the center pillar upper trim. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Install the quarter trim panel as needed. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim
  5. Install the carpet retainers. For the Sedan refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement or for the Coupe Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim
  6. Install the windshield upper garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper in Interior Trim.
