Removal Procedure
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
  2. Remove the right side instrument panel insulator. Refer to Insulator Replacement - IP in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  3. Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - IP in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

    4. Object Number: 294430 Size: SH
  4. Remove the theft deterrent relay from the theft deterrent module bracket (3).
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the relay (5).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 294430 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector to the theft deterrent relay (5).
  2. Install the theft deterrent relay to the theft deterrent module bracket (3).
  3. Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - IP in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  4. Install the right side instrument panel insulator. Refer to Insulator Replacement - IP in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
