Resynchronize all of the keyless entry transmitters. Refer to Transmitter Synchronization

Do the door locks cycle while you resynchronize the keyless entry transmitters?

Press the following buttons (one at a time) on the keyless entry transmitter in order to test the keyless entry system:

Do all of the keyless entry system functions operate correctly?

Use a J 39200 digital multimeter (DMM) in order to measure the voltage on each one of the keyless entry transmitter batteries.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

3-3.5 V

Operate the power door locks using any of the power door lock switches.

Do the power door locks operate normally?

1. Reprogram all keyless entry transmitters. Refer to Transmitter Programming .
2. Press the following buttons (one at a time) on the keyless entry transmitter in order to test the keyless entry system:

•	The LOCK button

•	The UNLOCK button

•	The rear compartment release button

Does the keyless entry system operate correctly?

1. Replace the keyless entry transmitter batteries. Refer to Transmitter Battery Replacement .
2. Resynchronize the keyless entry transmitter. Refer to Transmitter Synchronization .

1. Program a known good keyless transmitter. Refer to Transmitter Programming .
2. Press the following buttons (one at a time) on the keyless entry transmitter in order to test the keyless entry system:

•	The LOCK button

•	The UNLOCK button

•	The rear compartment release button

Does the keyless entry system work?

Replace the faulty keyless entry transmitter. Refer to Transmitter Programming

Has the repair been made?

1. Disconnect the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR).
2. Use a test light in order to probe between the RCDLR connector terminal N and terminal E.

Did the test light illuminate?

Go to Step 12

1. Inspect the RCDLR connector for poor terminal contact.
2. Replace the RCDLR if the RCDLR connector is OK. Refer to Receiver Replacement

Has the repair been made?

Use a test light in order to probe between the RCDLR connector terminal E and the ground.

Did the test light illuminate?

1. Ensure that the ignition switch is in the LOCK position.
