Removal Procedure
  1. Apply the parking brake.
  2. Adjust the automatic transaxle to 2.
  3. Remove the console shift control handle retaining clip.
  4. Remove the console shift control handle.
  5. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to pry the rear of the console shift control bezel upward.
  6. Rotate the shift indicator lamp socket counterclockwise in order to disconnect the socket from the console shift control bezel.
  7. Disconnect the cigar lighter electrical connector.
  8. Remove the console shift control bezel.
  9. Remove the front floor console trim plate screws.
  10. Open the storage compartment door.
  11. Carefully pry the rear of the front floor console trim plate away from the floor console.
  12. Pull the front floor console trim plate towards the rear of the vehicle in order to disengage the front of the trim plate. Remove the front floor console trim plate.

Installation Procedure
  1. Align the front of the front floor console trim plate to the floor console.
  2. Install the rear of the front floor console trim plate to the floor console.
  3. Close the storage compartment door.
  4. Install the front floor console trim plate screws.
  5. Align the console shift control bezel front retaining tabs to the floor console.
  6. Connect the cigar lighter electrical connector.
  7. Position the shift indicator lamp socket to the opening in the console shift control bezel. Rotate the shift indicator lamp socket clockwise in order to connect the socket to the console shift control bezel.
  8. Carefully push down on the rear of the console shift control bezel in order to engage the console shift control bezel retainers.
  9. Install the console shift control handle.
  10. Install the console shift control handle retaining clip.
  11. Place the automatic transaxle in Park.
  12. Push to release the parking brake.
