Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 292042 Size: MH
  1. Remove the rear window trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Open the rear compartment lid.
  3. Depress the two retaining tabs (1) on the underside of the high-mounted stoplamp and slide the lamp assembly toward the front of the vehicle.
  4. Close the rear compartment lid.
  5. From inside the vehicle, lift the high-mounted stoplamp assembly locating tabs (2) out of the slots on the rear shelf panel.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the stoplamp assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 292042 Size: MH
  1. Connect the electrical connectors to the high-mounted stoplamp assembly.
  2. Install the high-mounted stoplamp assembly locating tabs (2) into the slots on the rear shelf panel.
  3. Slide the stoplamp assembly toward the rear of the vehicle to secure the retaining tabs (1).
  4. Install the rear window trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
