Condition/Concern:
Some 2006 Chevrolet Impalas and Monte Carlos were built with an incorrect refrigerant label affixed to the core support.
Recommendation/Instructions:
The correct refrigerant charge is:
V6 | 0.635 kg (1.4 lb) |
V8 | 0.544 kg (1.2 lb) |
Police | 0.544 kg (1.2 lb) |
The correct label is 15876172. It replaced label 15840105 that had an incorrect English value for the V6 (2.3 lb).
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
