SDM Programming and Setup - keywords air bag lamp light program restraints sir tech2

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

When replacing the SDM the following procedure must be followed after the new SDM is installed.

1. Request information from the vehicle for SPS programming.
2. Go to the TIS terminal and build the vehicle then select SDM.
3. Install Tech 2 in vehicle and download the calibration into the SDM.
4. Turn the ignition key off and wait 1 minute.
5. Turn the ignition key back on.
6. Setup SDM Primary Key in BCM using the Tech 2
7. Setup new SDM using the Tech 2
8. Re-Zero the Passenger Presence System

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
