Accessory Switch Replacement SEO

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 575129  Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement .
  2. Remove the screws from the accessory switch housing.
  3. Remove the accessory switch housing from the instrument panel.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the accessory switch .
  5. Remove the accessory switch from the accessory switch housing.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the accessory switch to the accessory switch housing, pressing into place until fully seated.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the accessory switch.
  3. Install the accessory switch housing to the instrument panel.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the accessory switch housing screws.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the accessory housing switch screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement .
