Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1625481 Size: SH
  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the ignition control module electrical connector.

    3. Object Number: 1624634 Size: SH
  3. Remove the ignition coil housing bolts.
  4. Remove the ignition coil housing from the camshaft cover.
  5. Remove the ignition control module, if necessary. Refer to Ignition Control Module Replacement .

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1624634 Size: SH
  1. Install the ignition control module, if necessary. Refer to Ignition Control Module Replacement .
  2. Install the ignition coil housing to the camshaft cover.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the ignition coil housing bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the ignition control module electrical connector.
  5. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
