Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2008 🢒 Express - AWD 🢒 HVAC 🢒 Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning 🢒 Heater and Air Conditioning Control Vacuum Pump Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 4.3L engine, or Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L and 7.0L engine, or Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 6.6L engine.
  2. Disconnect the vacuum pump electrical connector.

    3. Object Number: 1658459 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum pump.
  4. Remove the vacuum pump retaining bolts.
  5. Remove the vacuum pump from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1658459 Size: SH
  1. Install the vacuum pump to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the vacuum pump retaining bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  3. Connect the vacuum hose to the vacuum pump.
  4. Connect the vacuum pump electrical connector.
  5. Install the air cleaner. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 4.3L engine, or Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L and 7.0L engine, or Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 6.6L engine.
