  1. Disconnect the power door lock control module.
  2. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between the power door lock control module connector, cavity F for CKT 158 (WHT/BLK), and ground
  3. Open the side door.

Is continuity present?

Go to Step 6

  1. Disconnect the side door jamb switch connector.
  2. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between the side door jamb switch connector, cavity B for CKT 150 (BLK), and ground.

Is continuity present?

--

Go to Step 5

  1. Connect an J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between the side door jamb switch connector, cavity A for CKT 158 (WHT/BLK), and ground.
  2. Connect a J 36169-A fused jumper wire between B+ and the power door lock module connector, cavity F for CKT 158 (WHT/BLK).

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the power door lock control module.

Refer to Door Control Module Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 10

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the side door jamb switch and ground.

Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Go to Step 10

Replace the side door jamb switch.

Refer to Sliding Door Jamb Contact Plate Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 158 (WHT/BLK) between the power door lock control module and the side door jamb switch.

Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
