Roller Track Replacement - Sliding Door Center Center
Removal Procedure
- Remove the passenger side body side trim panel. Refer to
Body Side Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side
in Interior Trim.
- Remove the sliding side door lower trim panel. Refer to
Sliding Door Lower Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Remove the sliding side
door center track stop nuts and washers from the vehicle.
- Remove the sliding side door center track stop from the vehicle.
- Remove the sliding side door center track cap nut and plate from
the vehicle.
- Remove the sliding side door center track cap from the vehicle.
- Remove the sliding side door center roller bracket. Refer to
Rear Side Door Center Roller Bracket Replacement
.
- Remove the nuts and the washers that retain the sliding side door
center track to the body.
- Remove the sliding side door center track from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the sliding side
door center track to the vehicle.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the nuts
and the washers that retain the sliding side door center track to the body.
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 11 N·m (97 lb in).
- Install the sliding side door center roller bracket. Refer to
Rear Side Door Center Roller Bracket Replacement
.
- Install the sliding side door center track cap to the vehicle.
- Install the cap nut and plate that retains the sliding side door
center track to the vehicle.
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
- Install the sliding side door center track stop to the vehicle.
- Install the nut and washer that retains the sliding side door
center track stop to the vehicle.
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
- Install the sliding side door lower trim panel. Refer to
Sliding Door Lower Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Install the passenger side body side trim panel. Refer to
Body Side Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side
in Interior Trim.
Roller Track Replacement - Sliding Door Center Lower
Removal Procedure
- Remove the sliding side door check assembly. Refer to
Sliding Door Check Replacement
.
- Remove the sliding side door lower roller bracket. Refer to
Rear Side Door Lower Roller Bracket Replacement
.
- Remove the bolts (2)
that retain the sliding side door lower track (1) to the vehicle.
- Remove the sliding side door lower track (1) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the sliding side
door lower track (1) to the vehicle.
