  1. Disconnect connector C211 or connector C212.
  2. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between connector C211/C212, pin E CKT 150 (BLK), and a known good ground.

Is continuity present?

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between splice S206 and ground G200, refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Reconnect connector C211/C212.
  2. Disconnect connector C210 at the convenience center.
  3. Connect an J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between C210, pin C3, and a known good ground.
  4. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  5. Depress the heated mirror switch.

Does the test lamp light?

Repair the open in CKT 267 (ORN) between the convenience center and splice S245, refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  1. Disconnect connector C3 at the heater and A/C controller.
  2. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between the heater and A/C controller connector C3, cavity D CKT 267 (ORN), and the convenience center, pin C3 for connector C210.

Is continuity present?

Repair the open in CKT 267 (ORN) between the heater and A/C controller connector and the convenience center, refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Connect an J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between the heater and A/C controller connector C3, cavity A CKT 1440 (ORN), and a known good ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Repair the open in CKT 1440 (ORN) between the IP fuse block and the heater and A/C controller, refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Connect an J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between the heater and A/C controller connector C3, cavity B, and a known good ground.
  2. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.

Repair the open in CKT 141 (BRN) between the IP fuse block and the heater and A/C controller, refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  1. Disconnect the connector at the left power outside rearview mirror.
  2. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between the power outside rearview mirror connector, cavity A in CKT 150 (BLK), and a known good ground.

Is continuity present?

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the left power outside rearview mirror and splice S206, refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Connect an J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between the left power outside rearview mirror connector, cavity H in CKT 267 (ORN), and a known good ground.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Actuate the heated mirror pushbutton on the heater and A/C controller.

Repair the open in CKT 267 (ORN) between splice S245 and the left power outside rearview mirror, refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  1. Disconnect the connector at the right power outside rearview mirror.
  2. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between the power outside rearview mirror connector, cavity A in CKT 150 (BLK) and a known good ground.

Is continuity present?

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the right power outside rearview mirror and splice S206, refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  1. Connect an J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between the right power outside rearview mirror connector, cavity H in CKT 267 (ORN) and a known good ground.
  2. Turn the ignition to the RUN position.
  3. Actuate the heated mirror pushbutton on the heater and A/C controller.
