  1. Disconnect the left front power door lock switch connector.
  2. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between pin E, and pin A of the left front power lock switch.
  3. Depress the left front power door lock switch to perform the lock operation.

Is continuity present?

Does the left front power door lock switch perform only the lock operation?

  1. Disconnect the left front power door lock switch connector.
  2. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between pin E, and pin D of the left front power lock switch.
  3. Depress the left front power door lock switch to perform the unlock operation.

Is continuity present?

  1. Disconnect the left front power door lock switch connector.
  2. Connect an J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between the left front power door lock switch connector, cavity E for CKT 540 (ORN), and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Does the right front power door lock switch perform only the unlock operation?

  1. Disconnect the right front power door lock switch connector.
  2. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between pin E, and pin A of the left front power lock switch.
  3. Depress the right front power door lock switch to perform the lock operation.

Is continuity present?

  1. Disconnect the right front power door lock switch connector.
  2. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between pin E, and pin D of the right front power lock switch.
  3. Depress the right front power door lock switch to perform the unlock operation.

Is continuity present?

  1. Disconnect the right front power door lock switch connector .
  2. Connect an J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between the right front power door lock switch connector, cavity E for CKT 540 (ORN), and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Repair the open in CKT 195 (LT BLU) between splice S241 and the left front door lock switch.
